Penalty Halts Gular's Grandview Night |

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Mike Gular's Saturday night at Grandview Speedway ended just three laps into the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature.
Gular, who drove the S&N Racing/Banes Roofing No. 8 into a top-four position during the night's third heat, was spun on lap three after contact from Ryan Godown. Restarting from the rear, he was collected in an ensuing restart tangle and ducked quickly to the pit area.
Officials deemed Gular entered the pit area too quickly and parked the car for the night. A 27th-place finish ensued.

The S&N team's first trip of the season to Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway for Friday night's Georgie Stevenson Memorial 35-lap event resulted in a solid 10th-place finish.
Rebounding from a pair of early skirmishes, Gular diced through traffic in the opening 15 laps before the handling went away late in the distance.
Racing continues this Saturday at Grandview. |
