Gular Turns It Around For Seventh At Grandview

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - A much improved S&N Racing No. 8 hit the track at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.

Recovering from a lap-four spin, Mike Gular rebounded to drive the Banes Roofing-sponsored No. 8 to seventh at the finish, charging back through the field.

Gular impressively won the night's fourth heat race over defending champion Jeff Strunk.

After recent struggles, the team executed a complete overhaul of the car during the week and the results were promising.

"This was the best car I had here all year," said Gular, who noticed an immediate difference from the first hot lap session.

Racing for Gular continues on Wednesday with the THP No. 53 big-block Modified in the Traffic Jam 100 Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series event at Grandview.

The S&N No. 8 will be back at the Hill on Saturday night.
