Kellner Runs To 10th On Slick Grandview Surface

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Jon Kellner roared from 22nd to finish 10th on a slick track in Saturday night's 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature at Grandview Speedway.

Driving what he called "the best car he's ever had on a black, slick track" Kellner diced through traffic from his 11th-row starting position in the early laps.

Only a surface that uncharacteristically took rubber slowed Kellner's progress.

"The track took rubber and it made everybody even," Kellner said. "I never ran a car through the black that went that good.

"I give (crew chief) Brad Grammes all the credit. I gave him total control and let him work his magic."

Racing resumes for S&N Racing on Saturday at Grandview.
