Kellner Fourth Before Grandview Rain

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Jon Kellner drove to a fourth-place finish in Saturday's rain-postponed NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature at Grandview Speedway.

Restarting third with eight laps complete after rain postponed the final 22 circuits of the event on May 16, Kellner charged into second behind eventual victor Tommy Scheetz III at the outset.

Ray Swinehart and Duane Howard slipped past the S&N Racing No. 8 in the final two laps, leaving Kellner with a fourth-place result.

The finish boosted the team to 12th in the NASCAR 358-Modified standings.

Rain moved over the speedway after the qualifying heats were completed, forcing the postponement of the consolations and feature to the May 30 show.

Because the car's powerplant wasn't running up to par at Grandview, the team has decided to forego the Memorial Race 50-lap event at Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway on Sunday evening.
